My Model of a shield!!

I will need:papier mache red ,blue and silver paint and thick cardboard also glue and a black pen. My Shield is going to be made like this:First I will cut out a lage circle and then put 1 layer of papier mache over it and then leave it to dry. Then I will paint it theese colours on to it.
1. Gold
2. silver
3. Red
I will put a red dot in the middle and put silver around the egde I will then put gold every where else!!

The height will be 43cm and the width will be 43cm.
On the back it will have a gold handle.
Then I will draw little tiles on the gold part with black pen!!

Ancient Greece

In Olympia the olympic games where held in honour of Zeus (king of the gods)

The games where part of the 5 day festival!!

The olympic games where held at Olympia ( a valley near a city called Elis)

It was an opportunity for large groups of people to come and watch the olympic games!!

Most of the buildings are knocked down but there are still some remains of the buildings left that you can see today.

My Homework!!

The three games I picked were called name the fraction, fraction revision and also fraction monkeys. I picked those three because I learnt the most while playing them.

In name the fraction I learnt how to name the fraction of any shape like a square and a triangle. I also picked this game because some of the shapes were shaded in so I could see what a 1/2 a 1/4 and lots of other fractions look like.

In fraction revision I learnt on level two how many 1/16 went in to a whole and how many 1/4 went in to a whole. On level one I learnt how to share fractions into equal parts.

I picked fraction monkeys because it helped me to learn where a ¼, a ½ and lots of other fractions go on a number line. I know a ½ goes in the middle of the number line and I worked out the others from there. I also picked this one because it didn’t feel like I was doing my homework because the monkeys are there to let you have fun!!!

My book review of The Witches Boy!!!!

This book is amazing. It all begins when a witch finds the most ugliest baby boy you have ever seen. He has great big ears and big fat lips but does that stop the witch from loving him?

The witch takes the boy back to her house and says a spell to make a big giant monster come up from the ground but is he good or bad? Then the witch does another spell to make a wolf come up from the ground but luckily the wolf is good.

The wolf has to look after the baby boy which the witch called Lump and the poor wolf was left to bring Lump up to become a man. The witch loved Lump and tried to spend as much time with her adopted son as much as possible but of course all witches have jobs and responsibility.

The wolf was like his mother by this point and spent alot of time with Lump. One day she took lump to a cub meeting and Lump met a little baby cub but he wasn't that nice. He kept on scratching poor Lump but luckily the biggest wolf came and helped Lump get away from the unfriendly cub.

She takes him back to her tempurery mum and the wolf takes her back to the witch.Meanwhile back at the witches house the big monster was building a nursery for Lump!!When Lump got back he fell asleep.

What will happen next why not by the book and find out.
